Annual Chili Cookoff
Join us on Saturday, March 16th, 2024 for our Annual Chili Cookoff!
Hours: 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM
Price: $5 all-you-can-eat. Anyone who enters a chili into the contest gets in Free.
How it works:
A dozen people will make their favorite chili and bring it to the Club. When the doors open, anyone
with the $5 entry fee can come in and sample all the chili they can eat.
Each attendee is given a scorecard where they select their favorite recipes. We tally it up at the end of the night and announce a winner.
The winner gets their name on the coveted Shirley Rod and Gun Club Chili Cookoff Trophy™.
Anyone who enters a chili into the contest eats for free. Everyone else pays $5 for all-you-can-eat chili.
If you want to enter the contest, first contact Dan Johnson at 978-877-2010 to ensure that space is available, then whip up 4 quarts of your favorite chili, put it in a crockpot, and bring it to the Club at 4:00 PM on Saturday the 18th.
If you want to attend and eat some great chili, show up at the Club at 5:30 on 3/16/2024. Bring $5 and your appetite.
